Classes
Our pass rates for the first time taking the CFP® exam have consistently exceeded the national review courses, which show a 78% pass rate. Pass rates, of course depend on how prepared students are before coming into the review classes. Remember, that pass rates standards are not consistent between review providers.
Class sizes are limited to 20 students and held in conference rooms. Students are able to have one-on-one question and answer time with the instructors and comment that they feel our classes provide a high level of personal instruction.
Class topics include the Financial Planning Process, Insurance Planning, Employee Benefits, Investment Planning, Income Tax Planning, Retirement Planning, Estate Planning, and the Time Value of Money

Prerequisites
Students are encouraged to prepare thoroughly prior to coming to this review course. Feel free to discuss your self-study materials and program with Mary Cardello, CFP® prior to registering
All pre-study material has been updated for the current exam. The material has around 1,700 questions including quizzes, mock exams and cases, and it takes approximately 100-120 hours to complete prior to attending the Live Review Class.
Manuals
Our 2009 Manuals are organized to follow class lectures verbatim. Manuals are handed out at the beginning of each session. The book is designed so that you will have to take limited notes. The material covered in our manual mirrors the structure of the 89 topics tested by the CFP® Board of Standards. Each of the principles is reviewed in detail so that students understands the concepts that will be tested and how they apply to everyday practice. Your completed manual should be the only resource you use in the week prior to the exam.
Calculators
You must bring a financial calculator to class (and to the Exam). We will be supporting the HP 10BII or 10B financial calculators in class. Some keystrokes will be provided for other calculators.
Refreshments
Coffee, soda, and snacks are provided for students. Lunch Breaks will be at 12:00 noon until 1:00pm during the day classes. Restaurants and coffee shops are located near our locations. Maps to restaurants will be provided in class.

Students are encouraged to dress comfortably for a business-casual environment. The room is heated and air-conditioned. Layers are suggested for those that are temperature sensitive. The rooms have been known to be on the chilly side. Cell phones must be turned to vibrate.
